Rules

This is a community site, so please keep the attitude of goodwill involved when looking around. Not everyone can be listed, and expansions may be planned, so please review the following for who is and isn't approved.

  1. Businesses must have a Gainesville address or be Gainesville-adjacent
  2. Businesses must be open to the public
  3. Businesses must be retail or open to families
  4. Businesses primarily dealing in habit-forming substances are generally not approved
  5. Businesses must be in one of the categories on the home page (see for additions)
  6. Events must be family friendly or city-wide — a live music site may be coming in the future
  7. Businesses must be single location or limited to local ownership — no chains

If any site is listed that does not follow these rules, there will be an editor's note on their card explaining the reasoning for the exception. GoGainesville reserves the right to deny any business a card on this site.

If you believe your business qualifies for an exception, it is entirely possible and we would like to hear from you! Please send an email to info@gogainesvilletx.com before you submit (or if you were denied) and we will review your submission.
